A Great Horned Owl
A Great Horned Owl (working title) is my full-length work-in-progress.
Inspired by "Federigo's Falcon" by Giovanni Boccaccio, this play tells the story of a young owl whose world is upended when her falconer falls in love with an entomologist. Torn between the evil influence of a firefly and devotion to her man, the owl must make a terrible decision as lives hang in the balance.
